Aamir Haq

Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Patents and Trade Secrets Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Aamir Haq is a VP & AGC at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and serves as the Chief Patent Counsel. In this role, Aamir leads a team of attorneys, agents, and paralegals handling worldwide patent prosecution, preparation, and portfolio management tasks. Aamir also manages the Trade Secret practice and various pan-IP activities. Prior to joining HPE, Aamir spent several years at Foley & Lardner LLP in Washington D.C. where he primarily focused on patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical arts. Prior to the firm, Aamir worked as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO focusing on telecommunication technologies. Aamir is active in the IP community, including currently serving as the Co-Chair of the IPO Patent Office Practice committee.
