Daniel Corominas serves as Deputy Director at Nissan Mexicana, where he leads the litigation team and oversees all contentious legal matters, including commercial, civil (product liability), criminal, consumer protection, and labor disputes. He also provides strategic legal counsel on issues related to the Dealer Network and Intellectual Property, including trademarks, copyrights, and anti-counterfeiting efforts. Daniel joined Nissan in 2014 as Senior Manager of Litigation, where he also advised the company’s Financial Entity and Latin America Business Unit. Prior to his tenure at Nissan, he held in-house litigation roles at AT&T, American Tower, and Becton Dickinson, gaining extensive experience in corporate legal strategy. Before transitioning to in-house counsel roles, Daniel practiced litigation at several law firms for nearly seven years, building a strong foundation in dispute resolution. A native of Mexico City, Daniel earned his law degree from Marist University in 2005 and holds diplomas in Amparo Law, Mediation, and Negotiation. He has been recognized multiple times in the Legal 500 GC Power List Mexico for his leadership and contributions to the legal field.
