Jill Poimboeuf is Director of Intellectual Property for TOMRA Food, where she leads global IP strategy, licensing, and litigation. With a background in electrical engineering, she advises on generative AI governance, AI and software licensing, open source software, and emerging technology risks. Before joining TOMRA, Jill served as in-house counsel at IBM, working on intellectual property matters related to early cognitive computing and AI technologies, including IBM Watson. She is passionate about helping organizations use AI responsibly and effectively to drive innovation while transforming technical breakthroughs into protected intellectual property and business value.
