Marylauren is evolving Olaplex’s patent portfolio, fortifying the OLAPLEX brand, and enforcing its IP to keep pace with Olaplex’s growth, innovation, and consumer demand. Leading a network of legal and investigative firms to limit consumer exposure to counterfeit and unauthorized Olaplex products, she has removed over USD$300K of unauthorized products and nearly 500K counterfeits from the marketplace. Marylauren is also Olaplex’s lead regulatory & advertising attorney. Previously, Marylauren was Director of IP at Mary Kay Inc. for nearly a decade where she grew its IP portfolio to 10,000+ assets and leveraged it against counterfeiters and infringers.
