Antonio Enrico Agovino

Antonio Enrico Agovino is Head of Business Integrity, Security & QHSE at INWIT, Italy's leading telecommunications infrastructure company. He leads the company's governance activities across legal operations, enterprise risk management, compliance, cyber and physical security governance, business continuity and QHSE.

Before taking his current role, Antonio established and led INWIT's Legal Operations function, driving the transformation of litigation management, alternative dispute resolution, legal processes and governance to better support business performance and decision-making.

With over 15 years of experience in listed infrastructure companies, including previous leadership roles at TERNA, he has developed extensive expertise in governance, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, risk management and organisational transformation. His recent work has focused on enabling the safe and effective adoption of Artificial Intelligence within highly regulated environments through governance frameworks, AI policies and cross-functional collaboration between legal, security and business teams.

Antonio is also a lecturer in postgraduate programmes on compliance and cybersecurity, a frequent conference speaker, and serves on several Supervisory Boards under the Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001.
