Organisations can no longer overlook the need to implement meaningful future-proofing strategies and must work to leverage tools such as predictive workforce analytics and scenario planning to effectively forecast and prepare for the future workforce landscape. Sydney Water is working to execute the government’s vision for Sydney in 2056 – ensuring the city remains a thriving, sustainable, globally competitive community. Focusing on a long-term workforce strategy, the organisation is implementing scenario planning and experimentation to determine which approaches need to be taken to create flexibility in a strategic workforce plan.
