The Australian Public Service Commission (APSC) oversees 105 agencies and over 150,000 people.
The APSC aims to strengthen the APS workforce by developing a Whole of APS Workforce Strategy which focus on a future-fit workforce strategy and build scalable development, identification and recruitment strategies for the workforce.
The Strategy will be a roadmap for the future APS workforce, assisting it to identify priority areas for workforce development and investment.

Build Workforce Planning Capability across the APS through the physical and virtual communities of practice
The development of the Whole of APS Workforce Strategy and the critical role that Workforce Planning professionals will play in its implementation.
Produce updated Workforce Planning tools to align with current best practice and International and Australian standards
