Charlotte Yarrow KC is the global legal lead for AI, Content, and Consumer Regulations at Google. Previously a senior barrister specialising in complex multi-jurisdictional white-collar and banking fraud trials, Charlotte was appointed as Kings Counsel in 2020. She then joined Apple, establsihing the first regulatory team to address OSA and DSA, before moving to Meta as Content and AI regulations proliferated where she led EMEA and APAC Content and AI teams. Now at Alphabet, she leads the global regualtory team for AI, Content and Consumer Protection laws. Charlotte is recognised as an expert on the developing regulation of AI frontier models and services, regulatory engagement, compliance frameworks, governance and kids online safety and consumer protection. She combines deep legal expertise with a pragmatic understanding of technical and commercial realities, enabling the development of effective, forward-looking, responsible strategies.
