Jackie Rovine is a legal and policy leader focused on the intersection of technology, regulation, and digital product and platform design. In her work at Spotify, Jackie established the Regulatory Compliance function and advises on complex issues involving digital regulation, platform governance, online safety, minor protection, and the evolving expectations placed on technology companies around the world. Jackie brings a practical, cross-functional perspective to emerging technology and regulatory challenges, working at the intersection of legal, policy, product, and business teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into reg-agnostic, workable approaches. Her work increasingly focuses on how companies can move beyond compliance toward safety-by-default—building protections into products, systems, and user experiences from the moment of product ideation. Prior to joining Spotify, Jackie was an Associate General Counsel on the NORAM Regulatory Enforcement team at Meta Platforms, Inc., and a Senior Associate at BakerHostetler LLP. Jackie lives in NYC with her husband and two daughters.
