Pollyanna Tassell is Director of Legal at Carwow Group, the automotive marketplace and media business behind Carwow, Auto Express and evo. She is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and leads the Group legal function, supporting product launches, marketing campaigns and commercial deals and owning FCA compliance, consumer protection, data protection and AI governance. Polly chairs Carwow's AI Catalyst Council and has built and operationalised the Group's AI governance framework. Polly was previously General Counsel at Checkatrade, key areas of focus included customer reviews and consumer trust in the platform. She led the company's lobbying efforts for the implementation of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act from a digital markets perspective. She is a board adviser to the Confidence Project, a not-for-profit reducing confidence gaps in business, and a trustee of the Final Straw Foundation, a charity cleaning up the waters on the south coast.
