Tom Evans

Tom Evans is Of Counsel at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he advises technology companies on digital regulation, compliance strategy, and risk governance across the UK and the EU. His practice spans privacy and cybersecurity laws, consumer protection, and platform regulation issues arising under the EU Digital Services Act and UK Online Safety Act. Tom works closely with legal, compliance and product teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical, operational compliance frameworks and governance structure. He has particular experience in advising EdTech and gaming companies on issues relating to content moderation and children’s safety online. Tom also has experience helping clients navigate investigations and audits carried out by regulators under privacy and online safety regimes, including advising on remedial actions and engagement strategies to mitigate enforcement risk.
