2:20 PM Repeatable Business Architectures To Accelerate Digital Transformation Change, Within Australian Government Location Information Sector
Location Information is a key infrastructure which underpins every day decision making within government, industry and our personal lives. Location is the element of which provides the context of ‘where’.
Geoscience Australia has been leading a multiyear Whole of Government program named the Foundation Spatial Data Framework, with the intent of making the location data Open, Accessible, Affordable and Usable. The program addresses data governance, discovery, access and quality issues across a complex supply chain. The program introduces reusable infrastructures and architecture frameworks to stimulate stakeholder engagement to realise multiparty business outcomes.
Andrews will talk through the programs journey in using a series of re-usable business driven architectures and frameworks which cross cut multiple layers of government to realise this programs vision.
