Sheri Mason is Head of Real Estate and Head of Intellectual Property in the legal department at Flagstar Bank, where she oversees the bank's trademark and patent strategy. She played a central role in integrating the IP assets of Flagstar, New York Community Bank, and Signature Bank, and in steering a large‑scale 2024 rebrand that unified the new organisation's look and feel. Sheri is currently focused on shaping Flagstar's long-term trademark strategy under a new CMO and building a more formal patent program from the ground up, including procedures for invention disclosures and the balance between patents and trade secrets.
