Gilbert Hill is a Privacy Technologist, entrepreneur and advisor who has spent over a decade at the intersection of data governance, ethics, and emerging technology. He currently advises Feeld, Toppan and other clients as consultant and external DPO and is Industry Commissioner to the DMC, which adjudicates on consumer complaints to the data and marketing industry and acts as expert panel to the ASA. Gilbert earlier founded Optanon, a pioneering cookie compliance product and grew it to market leader before selling the business to OneTrust. He subsequently held roles as CEO at Tapmydata and CSO at Pool Data, VC-funded startups building solutions for data control and portability.
