UK Head of Trust & Safety Deloitte

James leads Deloitte UK's Trust & Safety practice, helping digital platforms and online services deliver safer online experiences, strengthen user trust, and respond to evolving regulatory expectations.

He supports organisations to develop Trust & Safety as a strategic function, spanning governance, risk, policy, operations, product integration, wellbeing and organisational transformation. His work helps clients improve user safety outcomes while supporting compliance, business growth and innovation.

Before joining Deloitte, James worked in senior positions in digital businesses including TikTok, Bumble and Amazon. Prior, he spent nearly 20 years as a military leader, running intelligence teams in complex environments around the world, and more recently as a senior advisor to the UK Government. He is a highly experienced, collaborative leader, well-versed in risk management and able to deliver change with speed and scale.
