Rebekah began her work in anti-trafficking at the age of 15, volunteering with STOP THE TRAFFIK. Over the past 17 years, she has worked across the anti-trafficking sector, combining frontline experience with programme design and delivery in both UK and international contexts. During this time, Rebekah worked on international anti-trafficking initiatives and spent several years working directly with survivors of trafficking in the UK. She went on to lead the UK’s largest survivor support service, overseeing national delivery and supporting thousands of survivors through trauma-informed, survivor-centred approaches. Rebekah rejoined STOP THE TRAFFIK six years ago as Director of Operations, where she developed the organisation’s prevention programmes and built a strong portfolio of cross-sector partnerships to support this work. This focused on delivering practical safety information to communities at risk and equipping others with data and insight to disrupt exploitation. Rebekah stepped into the role of CEO at STOP THE TRAFFIK in September 2024, leading our global operations and pioneering an innovative vision for human trafficking prevention and disruption by harnessing the latest developments in technology, as well as strengthening, empowering and expanding our incredible network of over 250 organisations placed to take action in the fight against trafficking.
