Chris Soltys is the Regional Smart Manufacturing Solutions Lead for North America at Bunge, where he champions the convergence of information and operational technologies to drive data-informed decision-making. Tasked with spearheading digital transformation across Bunge's manufacturing footprint, Chris's team focuses on connecting operational technology (OT) to cloud technologies in North America. This includes tracking foundational OT upgrades and IoT sensor deployments, contextualizing data streams, building scalable data repositories and analytics tools. The Global Smart Manufacturing Solutions team is responsible for developing intuitive visualizations and dashboards that empower operations teams with real-time insights, resulting in measurable improvements in efficiency and an increase in user adoption by more than 200% in the last 12 months. Currently, the team is piloting AI/ML-driven controls to optimize production processes. Prior to joining Bunge, Chris developed his experience in data analytics and program management at AT&T, where he led data-driven strategies, as part of the company's technology transformation, within the Data Center Consolidation program.
