Marlon Rodgers is a Software Architect, Engineer and Project Lead for Digital Twins at Lockheed Martin. He is also part of the Disruptive Innovation Organization in Enterprise Operations. Marlon is a seasoned professional where he has established himself as a strategic leader in the realm of digital transformation and AI. With a strong educational foundation in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in information technology, Marlon has developed a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. He was a speaker and participates with the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute Internet of Things Workshop for Manufacturing. As a certified expert in Digital Business Transformation, Marlon has also enhanced his skills through various certifications, including Human Computer Interaction for User Experience Design from the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. This diverse educational background has equipped him with a deep understanding of the intersection of technology, engineering, and business, allowing him to drive innovation and digitization within Lockheed Martin. Currently serving as a Project Lead under the Model Based Enterprise, Marlon is focused on unifying a strategy for AI-driven digital twin capabilities and improving operational efficiency. He is an active member of the Digital Twin Consortium, a Co-Chair of the Digital Engineering Working Group formed with the Object Management Group and other DTC working groups. He has led cross-functional teams in developing IT and mobile solutions for projects, such as the Digital Transformation F-16 Retrofit Line. Marlon is actively involved in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), university engagements and industry-wide initiatives focused on AI. Marlon is dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in digital transformation through data and AI at Lockheed Martin.
