Vish Palekar

Vish Palekar serves as the Head, Automotive and Manufacturing Industry and Solutions at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he is responsible for the Go-to-market, Pipeline and Partner eco-system for that Industry. Previously he served as the Global Head IoT Partners for the Automotive, Energy and Utilities at AWS. Vish has spent over 30 years leading businesses and holding functional leadership roles in global industrial companies in the U.S. and India.

Prior to these roles at AWS, Vish Palekar was Vice President responsible for the global partner ecosystem at Bloom Energy and led the electric mobility business Mahindra GenZe, as its CEO, both in the Bay Area. He championed the growth of solar and distributed power by incubating and leading Mahindra's solar business and the India P&L of the automation business GE Enterprise Solutions. He also led the global operations of GE Water and held various commercial and engineering leadership roles in GE Transportation and Cummins Engine Co.

Vish is passionate about applying technology to business outcomes and has helped scale and finance various tech and industrial initiatives around the world. He is a Mentor/Advisor at the TomKat Institute of Sustainable Energy at Stanford, Board member at Power for All non-profit and holds an MBA and a PhD in Engineering with executive education at Harvard and Yale.
