Claire Roberts is a Director and General Counsel for Hitachi Energy in the United Kingdom. With over twenty years’ experience in the energy sector, Claire has seen the sector evolve from an oil and gas industry, through to a renewables revolution, and most recently, with a heightened focus on sustainability and ESG extending beyond the sector.
Claire is involved in strategy development and execution to help deliver low carbon electricity, energy security as well as electrifying transport, while, at all times, ensuring Hitachi Energy delivers its sustainability and ESG commitments against the company’s vision of advancing a sustainable energy future for all. From a legal perspective, this means supporting the business in ensuring all ESG considerations are factored into its contracts with customers and suppliers.
