AC Ward is the Director of the Anti-Cheat Engineering team at Electronic Arts, whose team builds the EA Javelin AntiCheat system that protects 18 games at EA. A lifelong gamer, AC started his career in the gaming industry in 2007 at Blizzard Entertainment, where he worked through many roles, including customer support, website production, game security analyst, business intelligence project manager, before fulfilling his "name destiny" and joining the fight against cheaters, starting in 2012, working on Blizzard's anti-cheat and anti-fraud technology. He joined EA in 2020 and has since built engineering and data science teams to solve EA's game security challenges.
