Richard is a Supply Chain Operations leader with a track record of value delivery realized by organizing strategies and priorities then directing creative & practical solutions for Rapid Growth, Startup, Optimization, and M&A. He dives into operational details focused on what to optimize, understanding levers, drivers of performance, underlying economics, and culture change.

A hands-on coach that visibly guides from the floor to the boardroom a mindset for stability and sustainable growth transformations, Richard brings extensive experience (across 75 countries in 6 continents) at Anheuser-Busch InBev, McKinsey & Company, General Motors, Afreecar.org, and AJM Packaging. He is currently VP Operational Excellence & Automation at Marmon Holdings, a Berkshire Hathaway Company.

Honored with industry, government, and peer recognition as a subject matter expert & strategic thought leader, he's been sought out to keynote C-Level Operations Excellence events and lead Plant of the Future IoT/Industry 4.0 trend & policy workshops. He earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management as well as Master of Engineering from Northwestern University, and BSE from the University of Michigan.

Richard lives in Michigan with his wife and enjoys camping, biking and skiing with their 5 children. He has volunteered as a Soccer Coach & Referee, Soccer League Board Member, Regional Credit Union Board Officer & Member, Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster, First Robotics Mentor, and Knights of Columbus member. He was requested to guide the American Red Cross with planning and executing an operational excellence mandate for global supply chain operations.
