Tony Phillips is a senior technology leader and DevOps Engineering Lead within the Engineering Platform at Lloyds Banking Group, where he focuses on building scalable, secure, and highly automated developer platforms for large scale engineering organisations.

Over the last few years, Tony has been a key contributor to Lloyds' Internal Developer Platform (IDP), helping drive the adoption of standardised pipelines, platform tooling, and "golden path" approaches that significantly reduce cognitive load for engineers while strengthening governance and controls. He regularly represents the platform externally, sharing practical lessons on how large enterprises can modernise DevOps and platform engineering at scale.
